Only Action News cameras were rolling today when a man who has had his license suspended more than 60 times left a Livonia courtroom.

Prosecutors say 43-year-old Damon Matthew Ross was caught driving on a suspended license and without a valid plate back on June 19 at Plymouth and Levan.

Ross was released from custody today, after his mother came to pay $500 in bond. He's scheduled to appear back in court Thursday for sentencing.

When we questioned Ross about his driving habits, he didn't want to talk about his prior offenses, only saying he knows driving suspended is illegal and will talk in court.

Prosecutors are also working on charges involving another driver with 71 suspensions, also caught behind the wheel in Livonia.

We're told those charges could come in the next few weeks, and that driver has been released until his next court appearance.
