If you're missing mail and live in Ann Arbor, a postal worker could be to blame.

More than a thousand letters and cards - were found dumped outside of hotels and apartment complexes in Romulus.

Federal agents say a postal worker from Ann Arbor has been dumping mail in dumpsters...for months.

According to the criminal complaint, Antwawn Roberts did it from September to November, tossing more than 1200 pieces of mail and parcels.

We've learned he's dumped it at three-different dumpsters in Romulus several times - hotels, apartment complexes - even opening almost a dozen parcels. The feds say some of the contents were missing when the mail was found.

Roberts reportedly admitted to doing it because he felt overwhelmed and resigned immediately after confessing.

We're told the stolen mail that was recovered was brought back to the post office. It will be re-delivered as soon as possible.

In the meantime, if you believe you're missing mail, contact your local post office.
