For more than a week, 7 Action News has been exposing what many believe to be a monumental failure by Michigan Lawmakers.
Elected leaders passed a law to help firefighters battling cancer, then failed to fund it.
For one local woman, the news was especially devastating because her husband helped fight to get the law passed while he was dying.

A rally is also being planned Tuesday, March 8tat 9:30 am on the steps of the Capitol Building in Lansing. Firefighters from across the state are expected to attend.
