The eyes of the sports world will be on Las Vegas this weekend for the long-anticipated fight between Floyd Mayweather, Jr. and Conor McGregor.

The fighters held their final news conference Wednesday ahead of Saturday's fight. It was more subdued than fans have come to expect from the pair. Both seemed tired of talking and just wanted to get to the fight.

"I can give it and I can take it, but for me to be 49-0, it's obvious I'm not receiving," Mayweather said. "I'm giving it."

The undefeated boxer did a lot to praise his opponent McGregor and the man's fighting abilities. Mayweather called him a tough competitor and a stand-up guy.

McGregor, for his part, expressed great confidence in himself, and he took a shot at Mayweather's age.

"We are prepared for 12 three-minute rounds of non-stop pace and I will go forward and I will put the pressure on him and break this old man," McGregor said.

Mayweather is a heavy favorite in what will be McGregor's first professional boxing match.
