Firefighters rescued a 44-year-old woman from a house fire on Morehouse near John R. in Hazel Park this morning.
The fire chief says she suffered smoke inhalation and was taken to a local hospital. She is currently listed in serious condition.
The house, we're told, is a total loss. The fire remains under investigation.
