WALLED LAKE, Mich. (WXYZ) — The first licensed marijuana dispensary in Oakland County has opened. According to a news release, Greenhouse of Walled Lake opened Friday and is the first licensed dispensary in the county.

Jerry Millen is the president and CEO of Greenhouse, and said they are celebrating the first licensed sale of pot in Oakland County with a weekend-long celebration.

In honor of the Super Bowl, Millen said any customer holding a medical marijuana card and wearing an NFL jersey will receive 20 percent off on all products.

“My plan is to make sure Greenhouse is a giving and participating part of the community. I have since its inception and will continue to make sure Greenhouse is very involved with local charities and events” Millen said.

The dispensary is located on Walled Lake Rd. at the corner of Pontiac Trail, and is open Friday and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Sunday from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m.
