The City of Flint has filed an emergency motion to extend the deadline to choose a permanent source for the city's water supply.

Today was the original deadline for the decision as ordered by the court, but the city council says they need more time.
The council is requesting the judge to either dismiss today's deadline or give the city's expert more time to complete his analysis of the situation.
