A Florida artist, on a world tour, made a pit stop in Detroit to spread the message of "world peace." Renda Writer wrote those two words hundreds of times on a building in Detroit on the corner of Grand River Blvd. and Rosa Parks.

"That's the mission to write world peace everywhere, quite literally. World peace is exactly what we need right now and I'm trying to inject it into the global conversation again," says Writer. "The world is getting really crazy, really wacky and I just think we need to be reminded."

Writer is taking this visual reminder to Boston, New York City, Washington, D.C. and Mexico City in Mexico.

"I won't necessarily achieve world peace by doing this but I will achieve the goal of getting it out there," says Writer.
