Detroit police are investigating a shooting at a gas station near 8 Mile and Rosemont.
Police say the suspect walked into the store and targeted the clerk around 4:45 a.m.
We're told the victim was not behind the counter's bullet-proof glass at the time the suspect shot him.
The victim was rushed to the hospital after being hit, no word yet on his condition.
Officers say this shooting does not appear related to another gas station shooting on the city's northwest side.
