Good Samaritan carjacked, robbed after stopping to help stranded motorist

ROSEVILLE, Mich. (WXYZ) — A 51-year-old man from St. Clair Shores was carjacked and robbed after stopping to help a woman he thought was a stranded motorist in Roseville.

The man pulled his minivan over to help the woman with her pickup truck. The white pickup truck appeared to be broken down and was emitting smoke.

While speaking with the woman he was assaulted by two men.

The suspects reportedly pulled him from his vehicle and began punching him, according to Roseville police. The suspects are still on the loose.

The man was robbed of his money and the female suspect took off with his Gold 2006 Chrysler Town and Country minivan. The vehicle has a "Last Supper" decal in the rear window with the license plate number of DSB8965.
