The murder of a teen girl from the Grosse Pointe area in 2014 remains a mystery. Paige Stalker's family wants to make sure she's not forgotten, and they continue to demand her killer be charged with the crime.

Stalker was 16 years old when she was murdered on the night of Dec. 22, 2014, at Philip and Charlevoix in Detroit. Her grandfather, Dave Lawrence, says missing her smile and sweet voice is something that will never go away.

There's also ongoing frustration, not with the police who he says has done a great job, but with prosecutors who have not filed charges.

Lawrence believes the real killer is serving time behind bars on a different case, and there's enough evidence to charge him in Paige's murder as well.

“I’d just like them to get the punishment they deserve," Lawrence said. "Is it going to make me feel any better? I don’t think so.”

Paige was in a car with friends when a gunman opened fire on them. A reward for more than $150,000 is still being offered for info to solve the case.

You can call the Detroit police or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-SPEAK-UP if you have information on the case, and you can stay anonymous.
