DETROIT (WXYZ) — Monopoly. Trouble. Scrabble. You name it, Kevin probably has played it. The 12-year-old, who is currently in foster care, hopes to be adopted soon.

“I’d like having a family [who likes to] play games, board games,” he said.

“I like to play video games…and I like to go to the movies,” he added.

He describes himself as a quiet person who enjoys math, but he also likes to be active.

“I like to play basketball,” he said.

His worker said his love of basketball runs deep, too.

“He’s very competitive on the court. His favorite games are ‘Horse’ and ‘Around the World,’” the worker said.

“Kevin is very competitive,” she added. “Whenever we play board games, he always silently watches and observes until he is winning and beating everybody.”

He is really looking forward to having a mom and dad.

“I want to be an only child. I want to live in the city. I would like to have a dog,” said Kevin.

“My wish for Kevin is that he finds a forever home with a family that loves him unconditionally and enjoys playing all the games he loves,” said his worker.
