DETROIT (WXYZ) — Vroom, vroom! The sound of an exotic car’s engine gets Jonathan revved up. The 15-year-old -- who’s been waiting to be adopted out of foster care since 2010 -- is hoping his future parents like cars, too.

“I like Lamborghinis. [I want to] drive fast and sit in the driver’s seat. I want to be an auto mechanic. I want to work on fancy cars,” said Jonathan.

When he gets in a car, he likes tuning in to his favorite radio stations.

“I like to listen to piano songs like the ones that sound like the ocean. Music lets me express myself,” he explained. He likes dancing as well. Taking a hip hop dance class is on his To Do list.

“I never met a kid so full of life as Jonathan. He brings sunshine to a room. He is just an absolute joy,” said his worker “There’s no one he does not get along with.”

He’s an animal lover. His favorite animals include goats and dogs. He’d love it if his forever family had a pet he could help care for.

Jonathan is an inquisitive young man who enjoys school.

“I like to do math, art, science and basketball,” said Jonathan. Art class is a special time for him. “We get to draw pictures and make stuff out of materials.”
