Grant Me Hope: Renae likes reading, Girl Scouts, trampoline parks, and Justin Bieber

She has an endearing smile you won't soon forget.  Renae has been waiting in the Michigan foster care system to be adopted for two years.

“I would describe myself as spunky. Sometimes I have a sassy attitude,” Renae said with a grin.

That self-assurance has helped her handle tough situations, too.

“Sometimes when people are being mean to me, it makes me feel stronger about myself,” she explained.

The 12-year-old is a good student who makes As and excels in math and science.

She also enjoys reading.

She’s active in her church and would like to share that interest with her future family.

She’s a big Justin Beiber fan so you might find her swooning to his latest tunes like a lot of tween girls.

She dreams of becoming a veterinarian or a teacher some day.

But her main dream is to find a family to call her own.
