SOUTHFIELD, Mich. (WXYZ) — No one wants to think about it, but you never know when crime could touch you, your family, or someone you love.
Crime Stoppers of Michigan steps in to help solve crimes, help comfort families and creates programs aimed at making all of our communities safer.
The organization is committed to helping us. Now, Crime Stoppers needs you!
It does not get governmental money. And Crime Stoppers does not get a lot of grant money. It get funds through the corporations that operate throughout southeast Michigan.
This year alone, Crime Stoppers of Michigan has helped catch 41 fugitives, solve 15 homicides, 8 assaults, 7 robberies and 2 arsons.
Now, there is a way the public can get involved, all by becoming $5 a month Speak-up Club member. Five dollars comes out to 60 dollars a year.
If they can get aa many people on board as possible, it could help them further it’s mission.
