Police say a homeless man is in critical condition after he was assaulted outside of the Macomb County Circuit Court in Mt. Clemens.
He was located by Macomb County Sheriff's deputies lying on the ground with a bloody nose and swollen eyes.
Police say he was unable to answer any questions and was taken to the hospital for treatment.
One person who witnessed the assault and called police has been cooperating with law enforcement.
Police say a suspect has been identified but their name is not being released at this time.
