Tonight's dangerously icy roads are leading to many spin outs, delays and accidents.

We saw road conditions dramatically deteriorate starting at about 6:00 pm.

Tonight's ice-cold temperatures are making it hard for drivers.

On Telegraph Road at Long Lake road, traffic was paralyzed in what resembles a parking lot.

The Road Commission for Oakland County says they have 50 salt truck drivers hitting the roads, but they have a tall task ahead.

People we talked to didn’t plan on basically crawling home from work this Friday.

Among the other trouble spots - along I-275 and 6 Mile Eoad. It got so icy there, drivers needed to use all their skills in those slick spots.

Meanwhile, everyone we talked was forced to crunch the drive time between here and home.

Fortunately, there were no serious injuries to report. M-DOT also wants to remind drivers to be extra careful on bridges, ramps and overpasses.

Tonight is just a good night to stay off the roads if possible.
