A U.S. Army veteran in Inkster was provided a new roof Friday, June 3 thanks to the Owens Corning Roof Deployment Project.

Teams from Tittle Brothers Construction and Habitat for Humanity Western Wayne County partnered to install the new roof for U.S. Army Veteran Lloyd G. Lockett.

The project is a nationwide effort to show gratitude and honor for the veterans who have served our country.

The Owens Corning Foundation donated the roofing materials and Tittle Brothers Construction donated the labor.

More than 200 military members have received new roofs since the program began in 2016.
