John Cusack coming to Detroit for screening of 'Grosse Pointe Blank'

DETROIT (WXYZ) — Actor John Cusack, who starred in the movie "Grosse Pointe Blank," will be in Detroit following a screening of the movie at the Freep Film Festival.

The screening will be held Friday, April 24 at the Masonic Cathedral Theatre. Cusack will be available for a Q&A after the filming. According to the Detroit Free Press, he is expected to share stories from filming and take questions from the audience.

The Freep Film Festival runs from April 22 to April 26 and will include more than 70 screenings and special events.

Tickets go on sale Friday, Feb. 28 at 10 a.m. and range from $39.99 to $69.99.

"Grosse Pointe Blank," released in 1997, is about an assassin who returns to his home town for a high school reunion.
