(WXYZ) — Some houses put up for sale in Livonia are selling within hours if they are priced right.
Realtor.com just placed it at number 6 in the nation based on a median listing price of $245,900 and an average of 17 days on the market. The website also puts Grand Rapids as number 1 in the nation.
“It is the three most important things in real estate – location, location, location,” Real Estate Agent Jason Borregard says for Livonia.
It is close to I-96, 20 minutes to downtown Detroit and close to major employers, including Ford and General Motors.
Livonia home values are on the rise but average about 6.2% year over year.
