MOUNT MORRIS, Mich. (WXYZ) — A lost dog somehow found his way to Michigan all the way from Miami.
It is still a mystery how the four-legged friend, Simba, made it to Michigan. He showed up in a yard in Mount Morris, about 10 miles north of Flint.
The homeowner took Simba to an animal hospital. Workers scanned his microchip and called his owners more than 1,400 miles away.
Simba had been missing for over two months. His Florida family says they can't wait to have him back home.
