Commuters, rejoice! M-5 northbound between West 12 Mile Rd and Pontiac Trail in Oakland County has officially reopened.
Crews started moving the construction barrels out of the way this morning.
This comes after a weeks-long closure on the southbound side of the highway, followed by the northbound closure.
The reopening will also relieve congestion on Haggerty and Novi roads which were used as alternate routes.
