Mackinac Island's historic Grand Hotel opens today. It marks the 130th anniversary season for the hotel.
Guests will have the chance to stay in three new Cupola Suites this year. They'll be located on the fourth floor.
The new addition brings the total number of guest rooms at the hotel to 393.
Each one is individually designed and one-of-a-kind.
Also, guests will notice the two-year renovation of the hotel's iconic front porch has been completed. Workers went down to the original wood foundation, which was constructed in 1887, before rebuilding the porch.
In honor of it's 130th anniversary, the Grand Hotel will hold a celebration on June 30th.
