Selfridge Air National Guard Base is urging residents to not panic if they hear many different noises coming from the base on Wednesday as they conduct a test.
According to the base, they may hear sirens, loudspeakers and simulated gunfire during the exercise.
The Michigan Air National Guard does conduct regular training exercises to ensure that local Airmen can respond to a wide range of scenarios.
