(WXYZ) — The COVID-19 pandemic has turned homes into classrooms, in some cases, for nearly a year.

Many kids are still struggling with virtual learning when they don't have the proper tools at home, like a chair along with their very own desk.

While more children are getting back to school, others are still learning from home.

So, John Chambers of Pontiac was inspired, driven to make a difference for those students.
