(WXYZ) — Our children have been through a lot this year. Many things have changed, leaving so much in their lives unrecognizable.
But one thing’s for sure: We don’t want any of them to miss out for the holidays.
However, donations are drastically down. And organizations that were able to step in more really need all of us to step up.
Our Andrea Isom introduces us to a family whose tradition to support Toys for Tots needs help to make a difference for thousands of kids.
You can drop of a new unwrapped toy for a child via drive-thru this Saturday in Shelby Township and Chesterfield; it will run Saturday and Sunday, Dec. 5 and 6, from noon to 5 p.m. at Hamlin Pub.
You will also receive a Pub Card to spend when eateries are back open for indoor dining.
