The man accused in the shooting death of a Detroit Police Department sergeant has been bound over for trial.

Marquise Cromer is charged with first degree murder in the shooting death of Sgt. Kenneth Steil.
The shooting happened back in mid-September as police were pursuing the 21-year-old for a carjacking and the shooting of his father.
Sgt. Steil was rushed to the hospital after being shot, but died of complications several days later.
