A man was arrested in connection to several home invasions and larcenies in Clinton Township, according to police.

He has been placed on a $150,000 bond and will be arraigned Monday at 1 p.m.

Surveillance video caught him creeping around Clinton Township.

David Phillips went out to his garage to take a smoke break, but when he went back sinside, he saw someone running out his back door.

"I was sitting in my living room catching up on 'Game of Thrones,'" he said. "I decided it was time for a smoke break and stepped out in the garage and smoked a cigarette.

"Then, I went back into the garage door and saw somebody walking out our back sliding glass door."

Phillips said he thought he was home alone.

"When I said hey, they took off. I grabbed the flashlight, ran out in the backyard and he was already gone," he said.

Neighbors decided to spread the word of the home invasions and larcenies on social media - and it worked.
