ROSEVILLE, Mich. (WXYZ) — Charges were filed against a man who allegedly pulled a gun out on his boss at his Roseville job while demanding more work hours.

According to a criminal complaint, on the morning of July 26, Ronald Ali Massey arrived at his manager's office where he worked at Anytime Moving in Roseville.

Massey's boss, Brian Sheridan, was in his office with other employees when the defendant entered requesting more work hours to be added to his current work schedule. He also demanded access to his personnel file to update his address.

Sheridan provided Massey with a piece of paper to write his updated address down. That's when Massey pulled out a blue steel revolver, pointed it at Sheridan stating, "give me the money or I will shoot you in the leg," the complaint read.

The manager applied $1,480 in U.S. currency to Massey's employee profile.

Massey then exited the building, but not before smashing his boss' cell phone. Massey allegedly fled in a Chevy Malibu.

On July 30, an Detroit police officer in an unmarked car later located Massey in the area of Promenade and Chalmers where an investigation found he frequented.

Massey was arrested for armed robbery without incident.
