Man charged in connection with vandalism at QLINE, Comerica Park in Detroit

An Ypsilanti man has been charged in connection with breaking windows at two QLINE stations as well as Comerica Park.

Winston Lee Quiney, 30, is accused of breaking windows at the QLINE Adelaide station and more windows at the QLINE Montcalm station with a sledgehammer around 2 a.m. on Aug. 6.

Detroit police officers also responded to Comerica Park security who reported windows broken at Comerica Park in the 2100 block of Witherell in Detroit. An investigation led to Quiney's arrest.

He has been charged with two counts of Malicious Destruction of a Building $1,000-$2,000 and Malicious Destruction of Personal Property $1,000-$2,000.

Quiney received a $25,000 bond and has a pre-trial conference scheduled for Aug. 21.
