A 52-year-old man died after being struck by a car and dragged for a short distance on Dexter and Division early Thursday.
Police say he was struck by a gray or silver Chevy Malibu. A witness said the driver even stopped for a little bit but kept going.
The man was pronounced dead at the scene. One of his friends said he was well-liked and didn't deserve it.
Police are trying to track the vehicle down and say it was last seen on Linwood just a few blocks away from the scene.
