A man almost drowned at Camp Dearborn in Milford on the Fourth of July.
Michigan State Police troopers responded to the beach area around 1:15 p.m. When they arrived, a citizen was performing chest compressions on the 50-60-year-old victim.
Troopers attempted to resuscitate the man.
The man was taken to a local hospital with a weak pulse and breathing. His family is with him at the hospital.
MSP says there is no further information at this time.
Camp Dearborn is a family-oriented recreational facility, owned and operated by the City of Dearborn and located in Milford.
