Police in St. Clair Shores are searching for a man after a violent outburst at a McDonald’s restaurant.

The overnight shift manager at the location on 9 Mile and Greater Mack Ave tells Action News it happened around 3:15 a.m. in their 24-hour drive thru.

Angela Agents says three men pulled up in a gray Ford minivan. One of them got upset with the bill and Agents says he got out of the car.

She closed the window and latched it, but he began banging on the window so hard he broke the latch, opened the window and poured his hot coffee on her.

“He thought I charged him for something, and I explained to him I didn't charge you and I’d be happy to ring you up the way you want and he got angry and banged on the window and opened his coffee cup and threw it on me."

She says the men drove off in the older model minivan.

Agents says she got coffee on her sweater but she was able to change.

She tells Action News after police came out the man began calling the store harassing employees over the phone, so she called police a second time.
