The man who was busted behind the wheel with his driver's license suspended 61 times was sentenced on Wednesday morning.

Damon Ross, 44, was sentenced to pay $575 in fines and costs or spend 14 days in jail.

He was caught driving without a valid license plate and suspended license back in June in Livonia. His lengthy driving record shows dozens of traffic violations and citations dating back to 1991.

The judge asked Ross if he ever intents to get a valid driver's license during the hearing, and said he must pay all of the fines before he can ever get a license again.

He also ordered the vehicle Ross was driving that day to be immobilized with a steering wheel lock for a period of time.
