The man who led Detroit police on a wild chase down I-75 before being taken down on top of a minivan was sentenced Friday morning.

Derronn Deshawn Sherard, 24, was charged with fleeing and eluding police, resisting and obstructing the police, possession of heroin, possession of cocaine and possession of marijuana. He pleaded guilty on all charges.

Sherard, a murder suspect, led police on the chase in September down I-75. He jumped out of his ar, frightening the motorist behind the wheel.

An officer then jumped on top of the car on I-75 and tackled the suspect off of the minivan.

Sherard will now serve at least 90 days in jail.
