Marijuana products recalled in Detroit & Kalamazoo after failing lab testing

LANSING, Mich. (WXYZ) — The Michigan Department of Licensing and Regulatory Affairs has issued a recall for marijuana products that were sold in both Detroit and Kalamazoo.

According to LARA, the marijuana products failed lab testing.

In Detroit, the products were sold between Dec. 18, 2018 and Jan. 3, 2019, at The Green Miles in Detroit, which is located at 6650 E. Eight Mile Rd. The recall affects the following batches of flower sold from The Green Mile - License PC-000144:

Gelato

Failed for total yeast and mold.

Superman OG

Failed for chemical residue.

Mimosa

Failed for bile-tolerant gram-negative bacteria and total coliforms.

Girl Scout Cookies

Failed for total yeast and mold.

According to the state, patients or caregivers who have them should return them to The Green Mile for proper disposal. The Green Mile must also notify patients or caregivers who purchased medical marijuana products of the recall.

In Kalamazoo, there was a recall for products sold between Dec. 12 and Dec. 29, 20199, at Compassionate Care by Design in Kalamazoo.

This recall affects the following batches of flower sold from Compassionate Care By Design – License PC-000142 – located at 401 N. Sage Street, Kalamazoo, MI 49006. All products failed for chemical residue:
