The Old Newsboys' Goodfellow Fund of Detroit is set to honor Mayor Mike Duggan with the Edward H. McNamara Goodfellow of the Year Award.
The McNamara Award is presented to "noteworthy individuals who have significantly contributed to the community."
“A true Detroiter, Mayor Mike Duggan exemplifies dedication, commitment and responsibility as the city’s mayor and as a citizen,” said Detroit Goodfellows President Marshall Hunt. “He has given so many positives to Detroit. Because of his unyielding contributions and committing of himself to the city and Detroiters, our organization is pleased to present him with the Edward H. McNamara Goodfellow of the Year Award this year.”
The Tribute Breakfast ceremony will take place on September 25 at 8 a.m. at the Cobo Center.
Tickets are $150 per person or $1,500 for a table of 10.
