(WXYZ) — Here's yet another step the state of Michigan is taking to reduce the spread of COVID-19 among residents.

The Michigan Department of Transportation says starting Wednesday, March 18, the Blue Water Bridge toll booths will no longer accept cash payments from private passenger vehicles traveling eastbound into Canada.

Eleven new cases of coronavirus have been confirmed in Michigan, bringing the state's total to 65, according to new information released from the state.
