A metro Detroit family is desperately searching for a 15-year-old girl who disappeared after being dropped off at school on Tuesday.

Warren police say Kiaje Riley's mother reported dropping her off at Regina High School in the 13900 block of Masonic around 7:19 a.m.

According to the family's lawyer, her mother went to pick her up around 2:40 p.m. and that's when she noticed she was missing.

School officials say Riley didn't attend any of her classes on Tuesday despite her mother seeing her enter the building in the morning.

Family says she's always been a good kid and believes she may have been talking with an older man online in the days before her disappearance.

Riley is described as 5'4" and about 119 pounds with black hair, brown skin and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a blue-plaid school uniform and carrying a blue Hollister backpack.

If you have any information of Riley's whereabouts, please call police.
