Metro Detroit traffic: Icy, snow-covered roads causing crashes

Snowy and icy roads across metro Detroit are causing many accidents on highways and roads in the area despite lighter traffic with a lot of people off work.
Many of the accidents are on metro Detroit freeways and are blocking lanes. There has yet to be a full closure.
