Michigan hypnotherapist accused of sexually assaulting patient

A Michigan hypnotherapist is facing charges for allegedly sexually assaulting a patient under his care.

Genesee County Prosecutor David Leyton has charged John Gary Tomlinson, 65, with one count of first degree criminal sexual conduct, one count of unlawful imprisonment and one count of assault by strangulation. 

Tomlinson is accused of assaulting the patient while she was undergoing her fourth hypnotherapy session at his Grand Blac Township office on April 17.

He is awaiting a formal arraignment which is expected to happen in 67th District Court.
