Ready. Set. Bargain.
Michigan’s longest garage sale kicks off today and goes through Sunday. The 15th annual sale gets bigger and better every year.
The more than 200-mile stretch from Detroit to New Buffalo will feature more than 100 garage sales along the US-12 Heritage Trail corridor, locally known as Michigan Ave.
Many people have registered their sales on US12Heritage.org, but sales will be posted along the highway, at homes, farms, in towns and at businesses, so be on the lookout while driving.
Some sales are big and other small, but to be sure there will be antiques and typical yard sale items.
