UPDATE: Police said Jovan has been found safely
The family of a missing 15-year-old boy with Asperger's Autism is asking for the public's help finding him.
Jovan Jackson walked out of Clawson High School on Friday afternoon and this is his first time missing.
He was wearing dark jeans, a dark grey hoodie and a white t-shirt. He may or may not be approachable, and he likes to talk about animals and dinosaurs.
Police said he was able to elude detection for a short period of time after leaving around 11:35 a.m. He was last seen walking north on Washignton Ave. in Clawson.
They said he does respond to JJ and is a very nice young man.
Anyone with information is asked to call Clawson police.
