DETROIT (WXYZ) — Detroit police are asking for the public's help locating a 15-year-old girl who left home on Jan. 18 and never returned.
Javeya Brooks was last seen in the 2700 block of Ewald Circle Drive around noon on Jan. 18. Her family says she left home without permission and did not return.
The teen is 5 feet 4 inches tall, weighs 150 pounds, has a dark complexion and had a black braided pony-tail hairstyle. It's unclear what she was last seen wearing.
