Another Detroit's Most Wanted is off the streets, as Joshua Kahill, wanted for a sexual assault out of Fraser, has been captured in Clinton Township.

Detroit's Most Wanted: Joshua Kahill

Police say he was captured as a direct result of a viewer tip.

This isn't the first time Kahill has been in police custody.

“One of his friends goes and picks him up from the Fraser Police Department, he had just bonded out from a bench warrant,” Garcia said.

Fresh out of jail and ready to party, that’s what the U.S. Marshals say Kahill did, in December 2016.

“Kahill gets out of jail and goes to the party with his friends, they’re having a good time,” Garcia said.

But less than 24 hours after being bonded out, police say Kahill sexually assaulted a young woman.

“Early in the morning, that’s when the sex assault occurs,” Garcia said.

Kahill was arrested and formally charged with criminal sexual conduct in the 3rd degree and was set to face a judge last month.  He didn’t show, and a warrant was issued.

“Kahill is wanted by the Fraser Police Department and the Macomb County Sheriff’s Department,” Garcia said.

The Marshals say he’s a Macomb County native, and that’s where he’s hiding.

“This guy is still in the Macomb County Area, has ties to Roseville, Mount Clemens, Clinton Twp,” Garcia said.

Joshua Kahill is 25-years-old, he’s six-foot-one, 190 pounds.

“These guy’s tattoos are very distinct, they stick out,” Garcia said.

The Marshals say it’s best for Kahill to call and surrender.

“You are going to get caught, somebody is going to call,” Garcia said. “Just last week, Detroit’s Most Wanted – three are in custody and they’re all direct results of tipsters, of viewers seeing these people on TV and they’ve had enough, they want these guys off the streets,” Garcia said.
