Another of our Detroit's Most Wanted is off the streets, after being arrested in Romeo by the Detroit Fugitive Apprehension task force - thanks to a viewer tip.

An brutal stabbing with a butcher's knife that police say was unprovoked, landed Kenneth Williams, and his long criminal history at the top of the U.S. Marshals Most Wanted List.

Williams has been out of prison for a little over a year in a half, he served time for assault and that’s exactly what the U.S. Marshals say he’s accused of doing again.

His weapon of choice? A butcher knife.

“The mother’s boyfriend was laying down in bed minding his own business, mom’s son who is our fugitive Kenneth Williams, for unknown reasons walks in the room and starts fighting with mom’s new boyfriend,” Supervisory Deputy U.S. Marshal Aaron Garcia said.

An unprovoked fight on Bedford Street on Detroit’s East Side, police say the instigator is 30-year-old Williams.

“The mom’s boyfriend gets him in a headlock, gets the better of him and then he cuts him loose,” Garcia said.

That’s when police say Williams lost control.

“He walks in the kitchen he grabs a butcher knife, he comes back and he takes care of business.” Garcia said.

Police still don’t know William’s motive for the vicious attack.

“He stabs him multiple times in the shoulder in the arm the hand and luckily he didn’t hit a vital organ or vein and the guy survived,” Garcia said.

He survived, but the Marshals fear when this 5’10” tall 195 pounds fugitive will snap next.

“Williams been on the run since august, he’s no stranger to violent crime,” Garcia said.

They say he’s still around in our neighborhoods, which is why police need your help.

“We believe he’s on the east side and we have information he may have gone to Port Huron,” Garcia said.
