Detroit police are on the hunt for a man they say is wanted in connection to the murder of a young mother.

Deann Robinson went missing last year, her body was found last week.

Police say they have one man in custody in the case, but they are looking for one more person. This as the young mother’s family tries to get closure.

LaTressa Giles says she knew something was wrong after a few days went by and her daughter didn’t come home or call back in January of 2015.

Police say Deann Robinson, a young mother of two, disappeared after taking a phone call at her house in Detroit. An investigation would begin, as hope for her homecoming grew.

Earlier this year, a break in the case led to Jerry McCoy, who turned himself in, confessed, and was charged for murder.

Police say while one man is behind bars, they are looking for another in connection to Deann’s murder.

Deann’s body was found in an abandoned home on 2000  block of Sturtevant.

Now this family has to bury their loved one – an outgoing young woman who had been getting ready to go back to school.

Deann’s funeral will be on March 26th. Her family has created a GoFundMe.
.
In the meantime, Detroit police are asking if you remember seeing Deann last year, or know anything about her death, call their tip line at 313-596-2260 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-SPEAK-UP.
