In tonight’s Detroit’s Most Wanted report, detectives are looking for three women in connection to an arson that took the lives of a young couple on Detroit’s east side.

They say the victims were asleep at the time.

Police say they do have two people in custody, but are still on the hunt for three women. The three women wanted by police are 23-year-old Te’era Davis, 21-year-old Daquana Williams and 20-year-old Zsadaja Drewery.

Sgt. Andrew Guntzviller with DPD homicide says on December 14th around three in the morning the women helped two others burn down a home on the corner of Hoyt and Manning – killing 21-year old Jana John and 23-year old James Jordan who were asleep inside.

Detectives say surveillance video shows one of the suspects, who is now locked up, getting the gas that the group of five used to start the house fire.

Now, police need your help in getting these women off the streets and giving the families of Jana and James some closure.

Police say there was also one more person inside the house who was severely burned. He is still recovering.

If you recognize these women or know where they may be you’re urged to call the Detroit Police Homicide Tip Line at 313-596-2260 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-SPEAK-UP.

Remember, you may remain anonymous when calling both numbers.
