The mother of Danielle Stislicki spoke to news organizations on Tuesday following a plea hearing for Floyd Galloway Jr.

Galloway Jr., a person of interest in the disappearance of Danielle, pleaded guiltyon Tuesday to kidnapping, assault with intent to commit sexual conduct and assault by strangulation in an unrelated assault case from September 2016.

"We’re grateful that the survivor of the Hines Park case did not have to go through a jury trial and have to relive that horrific moment again. We’re hoping that at this point her and her family will have somewhat peace," said Ann Stislicki.

Danielle was last seen on Dec. 2, 2016.

Galloway Jr. used to work as a security guard at Stislicki's place of work. After her disappearance, police searched Galloway Jr.'s home, taking a mattress away as possible evidence.

"I am here, I’m going to be here along with a community of many…and we are not going to stop until justice is served," said Ann.

She says she will take time to be with family as the anniversary of Danielle's disappearance approaches.

"We totally... appreciate the support that everybody in the community and family members have done for us. We will do whatever it takes to continue to keep Danielle Stislicki’s name out in the public so that we can bring resolve," said Ann.

Galloway Jr. is facing 16-35 years in prison in the Hines Park case. His sentencing is scheduled for December 8.
