ROCHESTER, Mich. (WXYZ) — A staple in downtown Rochester for decades, Mr. B's Food & Spirits is closing its doors this weekend. The restaurant opened on Main St. in 1977 and will officially close its doors on Saturday.

An event on Facebook has hundreds of people interested in celebrating the bar's final day.

It's expected that City Tavern Kitchen & Bar will replace Mr. B's. The owners of 24th Street Sports Tavern in Oxford said they have purchased Mr. B's with more details to follow, as well as a photo that says, "City Tavern Kitchen & Bar. Coming soon."
